Summary
Oversees multiple line crews in the construction, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground distribution facilities ensuring work is completed in compliance with safety standards and accurate material reporting.

Summary
Oversees multiple line crews in the construction, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground distribution facilities ensuring work is completed in compliance with safety standards and accurate material reporting.
Principal Duties
- Assigns service/work orders to crews for effective and efficient completion
- Plans work, schedules necessary outages and reviews work orders for required manpower and materials.
- Resolves member complaints resulting from completed work
- Directs service supervisor on resource requirements for outages and daily service work.
- Ensures proper and accurate completion of all relevant forms, documents, and field data sheets.
- Verifies that all planned maintenance activities assigned are completed within the allotted time frame.
- Performs field checks of work in progress for assigned crews and schedule inspections of completed work.
- Strictly adheres to all established safety rules, regulations, and standards; stays informed of OSHA and other safety standards and recommendations.
- Ensures that all crews charge out materials correctly and materials returned are done in a proper manner and all forms and paperwork are completed properly.
- Ensures regular training of employees under his supervision including continued advancement of apprentice lineman.
- Collaborates with management on equipment, personnel and material needs.
- Directs and personally performs Standard First Aid and CPR.
- Understands and personally performs all duties in accordance with applicable safety rules and the cooperative policy manuals as well as effecting adherence to such rules on the part of all employees assigned to his coordination.
Experience of 10 years necessary. North Carolina CDL license with Trailer Endorsement required.
